Policies and what to expect
What to wear, who may come and how booking works, before you pay.
Booking and deposits
Book a session online or by phone. A card holds a private session or a group, and the deposit goes toward your session. A shared bench or a short session needs none.
Canceling and running late
Please give 24 hours notice to move or cancel a session, or 72 hours for a group. If you arrive late, your session still ends on time, so the next guests are not kept waiting.
If you miss an appointment
If you miss a session without telling us, we may ask for a card to hold your next booking. The terms show when you book.
Children and companions
The sauna house is for guests 18 and over. We don't offer a family session or a child's session, and companions under 18 can't wait in the rest room.
Using the thermal areas
Wear a swimsuit or swim trunks in the sauna and the cold tub, and sandals on the wet floor. Shower first, tie long hair up and sit on your towel. Guests must be 18 or over. The sauna is hot: sit on a lower bench, or leave whenever you like.
Phones and quiet
Phones stay in your locker in the changing room, the sauna and the rest room, and no photos are taken inside. The rest room is a quiet room, so take calls at the door.
Before your visit
Arrive 15 minutes early so you can change and rinse. Eat something light a couple of hours ahead, drink water, and skip alcohol on either side of your session. If you are hiking first, boots and wet layers go by the door.
When to ask your doctor first
If you are pregnant, have a heart condition, or have been told by your doctor to take care with heat, ask your doctor before you use the sauna or the cold tub. Leave the sauna if you feel dizzy or unwell, and tell your host.
If you're not happy
If a session wasn't what you hoped for, tell us within a few days and we'll make it right.
Tipping
Tips are welcome and never added to your bill. Leave one at the door, or hand it to your host.
