Short session
60 minOne round of heat and cold, then a rest. For a lunch hour or a quick evening.
Book: Short sessionWood-fired sauna and cold water
A wood-fired sauna and a cold tub in Keene, booked by the session. Come alone, bring a friend, or stop in after a day on the trail.

A visit
Most guests go around two or three times. Nobody keeps score.
Check in, take a locker and shower in the room by the sauna door. Tie long hair up and put on a robe. Phones and jewelry stay in your locker.

Sit on a bench, as high or as low as feels right. Ladle water on the stones only when the room agrees, and leave when you have had enough.

Step into the cool water, or stand in the open air for a minute. Go in as far as you like, or not at all.

Wrap up in a robe, drink a glass of water and sit in the quiet room until you want another round.

Questions
A short session is 60 minutes, and a shared or private session is 90. Most guests make two or three rounds of heat, cold and rest.
Yes. Most people book a bench in a shared session. Your host shows you the room and stays close by.
Hot, and you decide how hot it is for you. Sit on a lower bench, or step out whenever you like. Add water to the stones only when the room agrees.
Then skip it. A cool shower or a minute on the terrace works too, and nobody checks.
Guests 18 and over. We don't offer a family session.
Ask your doctor first. If you are pregnant, have a heart condition, or have been told to take care with heat, get their go-ahead before the sauna or the cold tub. Leave the sauna if you feel dizzy or unwell.
