Questions

Questions and answers

How long is a session?

A short session is 60 minutes, and a shared or private session is 90. Most guests make two or three rounds of heat, cold and rest.

Can I come alone?

Yes. Most people book a bench in a shared session. Your host shows you the room and stays close by.

How hot is the sauna?

Hot, and you decide how hot it is for you. Sit on a lower bench, or step out whenever you like. Add water to the stones only when the room agrees.

What if I don't want the cold tub?

Then skip it. A cool shower or a minute on the terrace works too, and nobody checks.

Who can come?

Guests 18 and over. We don't offer a family session.

Can I use the sauna if I am pregnant or have a heart condition?

Ask your doctor first. If you are pregnant, have a heart condition, or have been told to take care with heat, get their go-ahead before the sauna or the cold tub. Leave the sauna if you feel dizzy or unwell.

How early should I arrive?

Fifteen minutes before your session, so you can change and rinse. If you arrive late your session still ends on time, so the next guests are not kept waiting.

Where do my things go?

Into a locker with a key. Phones, cameras and jewelry stay there, and no photos are taken inside.

Can I book a group?

Yes. A group of five to eight books the whole house for two hours. Ask at least a week ahead for a weekend, and a card holds the time.

How do gift cards work?

They work for any amount and for any session. Buy one online or at the door, and ask us about expiry rules where you live.

How do I move or cancel a session?

Tell us 24 hours ahead, or 72 hours for a group, and we will move it. The policies page has the rest.

Still wondering?

Call the door, or choose a session and a time.
